Dragons Win by 9 Wickets.
It was a boiling morning in Headcorn which saw the final golf match of the tour, a very enjoyable 9-hole Texas scramble competition, won by the unlikely grouping of John Mihill, Tim Mihill and Charlie Farrant. After golf and a large lunch the Dragons vacated Headcorn after another enjoyable week and headed to Egerton.
Egerton won the toss and chose to bat, so with a team including a new high of 6 Mihills in it the Dragons took to the field. 35 overs of high quality cricket later Egerton finished on 162-8 which at Egerton was never going to be enough runs. Highlights including figures of (7-0-15-3) for John Mihill and Rebecca Mihills first over for the Dragons, which although consisting of 15 balls still went for less runs than one of her uncles overs!
Dragon of the week Ross Davies and Tim Mihill then headed out to bat to chase down the 162 runs. Tim fell cheaply for 28 but Ross (57) and Josh Mihill (53) knocked the rest of the runs off easily meaning another Dragons win, ending on 164-1 with 14 overs to spare.
